Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This policy explains what Zyveniq AI ("we," "us") collects when you use the product, why, and what control you have over it. It's written to describe this app's actual behavior, not generic boilerplate — but it isn't a substitute for legal advice. Have a lawyer review it before relying on it for regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, or otherwise) in your jurisdiction.
What we collect
Account information.Name, email address, and a bcrypt-hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's name and email.
Research content. The topics you research, any documents you upload for context, the reports we generate, and your notes, bookmarks, and highlights on those reports.
Usage and device data. IP address and user-agent string, recorded against login/session events for account security (detecting suspicious activity, enforcing rate limits).
Payment information(once billing is enabled). We do not store full card numbers ourselves — that goes directly to our payment processor, and we retain only what's needed for receipts and subscription status.
How we use it
To run your research: your topic, uploaded context, and account's field/specialization/ role/mode are sent to AI providers to plan, search, and synthesize a report. To secure your account: session and device data power login-anomaly detection and rate limiting. To operate the product: usage data helps us understand what's breaking and what to improve. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your research content to train models we don't control.
Who we share it with
Running a research query means sending your topic and search findings to the AI and search providers that power the answer. Depending on configuration, that's one or more of: Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), OpenRouter, and Perplexity for AI generation and search-grounded synthesis; Brave Search for web search results. Each processes only what a given call needs — your topic and search context, not your account credentials. We also use Resend for transactional email (verification, password reset) when you trigger one.
We don't share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone outside what's needed to run the product.
How long we keep it
Research sessions, reports, and annotations persist until you delete them or close your account. Session/security logs are retained for a limited window for fraud and abuse detection, then removed. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our primary database; some records may persist briefly in backups before rotating out.
Your controls
You can delete individual research sessions, notes, bookmarks, and highlights at any time from within the product. You can request a copy of your data or full account deletion by contacting us — see below.
Children
Zyveniq AI is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you directly.
